Grafter magazine.
I have independently created print and online publication, Grafter magazine. Grafter is a magazine for independent thinkers on all sides of the political spectrum. Aiming to encapsulate Britain today, it is a platform for people whose voices are often muted by mainstream media, those outside the bubble of London who are anything but the lowest common denominator. Grafter is a window into the real lives of fringe society; a mouthpiece for those with a lot to say but nowhere to say it until now.
From music features to art, photography, in-depth political features and opinion pieces, Grafter aims to cover a wide range of topics and themes.

Andrews UK. BREAKING.
At Andrews UK I helped create and develop BREAKING. A monthly newsletter which I am the editor of. Every month I write news articles, interviews and features surrounding the upcoming or recent releases. I also work closely with in-house graphic artists to develop striking visual images to keep readers engaged on a visual aspect as well as written. I have developed the layout of the written aspects of the newsletter myself, for which I use Adobe InDesign. Being the main copywriter and proofreader I strive on achieving the best results through my work.

Veloce Club.
I have written a range of articles for the online e-commerce bike brand Veloce Club, focusing on bike reviews, clothing launches and brand partnerships. Through Veloce Club I have worked closely with Richard on developing a voice for the audience, looking at who the brand is and the lifestyle of its audience as a focal point for the style of articles. I am passionate about working with clients to understand the goal in mind and how we can make it a reality.

Please find a range of projects, both for university and Grafter magazine. The Red Room magazine was specifically a university project, created in my second-year at the University for the Creative Arts, it is not for commercial use. For this project, I was made editor and in a team of three other students. Over the course of a month we worked together to build 'The Red Room' magazine, inspired by film director, David Lynch.
For Grafter's first print issue, in 2020 I wrote 'This is Ireland' a feature-interview surrounding life in Ireland from the perspective of a 17-year-old. I also interviewed political editor of the Financial Times, Robert Shrimsley about Twitter culture and comedy, climate change activists and his perspective on the changing landscape of journalism. I also wrote the opinion piece 'Is There A Class Issue?' questioning the current state of affairs in Britain today and what it means to be working-class.

Grafter magazine, Grafter Chats.
Through Grafter magazine, I created the successful live interview series 'Grafter Chats'. I sat down each week with a new photographer or creative and we discussed class, creativity, politics and much more. Done in an informal chatty manner, the aim was to reduce walls on topics that aren't normally discussed. This series allowed me to develop my skills into broadcast-style interviewing.
The series was highly regarded and gained over 5,000 views via Instagram and Facebook.
